In 1978, Judy Columbus founded Judy Columbus Realtors®, the area's first woman-owned real estate firm, which over the past 40 years has become known for an extraordinary team of professionals committed to energetic and personal customer service, high-visibility branding, unique marketing creativity and corporate relocation programs.
Her daughter, Jamie, purchased the company in 1999, and when Jamie sold the firm in 2001, we became Judy’s Broker Network, retaining our reputation locally, and adding a focus on our ability to assist clients who were seeking a real estate professional anywhere in the country, a re-design which attracted a new market segment.
Judy holds a BA in Journalism/Public Relations from Ohio State University, and currently serves as an Honorary Member on the Board of Golisano Children’s Hospital. Her husband, Richard Columbus, earned Eastman Kodak’s recognition as Inventor of the year. Their daughter, Jamie’s sister, Tracy, a graduate of Cornell University, lives in Los Angeles where she is a professional within the entertainment industry.

Jamie Columbus, CEO • Broker
Jamie has 34 years experience in the real estate industry including the presidency of Judy Columbus inc. Real Estate and Relocation. She holds an MBA from Harvard, has worked as a fine artist and photographer, and has traveled the globe. Add to the blend her spirit, drive and focus, and you have the recipe for a spectacularly effective real estate broker.
Jamie has the process of marketing and selling a property down to a science and owners of many of Rochester’s Grand Homes recognize the added value of her representation. With an artist’s eye and marketer’s creativity, she manages the preparation of their home for its Opening Day. Project completed, the home enters the market, “Buyer Ready.” The result? Jamie’s listings often sell within their first week on the market.
